Antique Day and Night Earrings
Made by the French, loved by the English, these handcrafted antique gold earrings perfectly encapsulate the 19th century’s obsession with ancient aesthetic. We love these earrings for their rich golden tone and day-to-night versatility. Remove the lower part from the hook and not only do you have fabulous day earrings, you also have a new pendant.

Era: 1860s-1870s
Metal: 18ct yellow gold
Size: Full drop 5.2cm by 2cm, ‘day’ drop 1.7cm by 9mm
Hallmarks: Stamped with French eagle’s head hallmark denoting it to be of at least 18 carat purity and produced after 1838.
There are some dents to the reverse of the earrings, this wear is commensurate with the age and the hollow form construction.
